Vintage Painted Ceramic Pendant Necklace

The necklace chain features a vintage solid brass box chain that is 16" in length with 22mm round pendant featuring a hand painted ceramic cabochon set in a raw brass setting.

I do not have a ton of information on the cabochons, but I was able to find another seller on Etsy selling a different style of the stones and they had noted they were commissioned by a famous designer based in NYC during the 1960s when he was on vacation in San Miguel de Allende Mexico. They were designed and hand painted following his direction and then used in his Kim's Creations jewelry line out of NYC!

Please note the metal components are raw brass and as such, it is best to avoid humid environments or water exposure which can cause the brass to tarnish. There are brass cleaners available that assist with restoring the natural finish.
