This necklace features a vintage carved buddha stone made circa 1950 for a jewelry brand called "Swank". We sourced these stones from a seller in The Netherlands and have reworked these beautiful stones into a pendant necklace.
The pendant has been attached to an 18k gold plated, 18" box chain that has a 4cm extension chain for the perfect fit.

History of Swank Inc.
Swank Inc. was founded in 1897 to produce women's jewelry, eventually expanding to produce men's jewelry and cuff links. During World War I, the company produced dog tags and emblems. During World War II, Swank produced fuses used in arms manufacturing. By 1968, Swank was described as the "world's largest manufacturer" and distributor of men's jewelry and toiletries.
